The Pace of Change

The pace of change is really speeding up. Have you noticed? Do you find yourself experiencing more and more days, weeks, and even years that seem to go by faster than ever? I do a lot of work in the Akashic Records and they refer to this time as The Quickening. The Quickening has come up in readings I’ve done for dozens of people this year.

Change is the one constant in life. “The Quickening” is the ever-increasing pace of change. It is reflective of the rising consciousness of individual human beings, humanity as a whole, and indeed the entire planet Earth and all living things on it.

Changing FlagsThe past week alone has seen huge shifts in social, political and economic issues here in the United States and around the world. From Obamacare being once again confirmed as the law of the land, to the tipping point reached regarding the Confederate Battle Flag flying over the South Carolina state capital (and many more places), to the expansion of marriage rights to all citizens regardless of sexual preference. This is an amazing time to be alive. It is only going to get more so. This pace of change is only going to increase.

A mere 3 years ago I was against gay marriage. I believed passing on all the legal rights of marriage via civil unions was enough. I thought marriage meant a man and a woman; End of story.

I asked myself, why? The dictionary defined marriage as being between a man and a woman. Who am I to argue with the dictionary? That’s the way it’s always been. That isn’t enough of a reason. Doing things because that is the way they’ve always been would keep us living in caves, riding horses… “That’s the way it’s always been” kept slavery going, and women from voting.

Marriage is a ceremony, a statement, a public action, a display of love… it is many things beyond legal rights. Love always and all ways. Love is equal. Heterosexuals have been screwing up marriage for generations. Is it really so sacred that homosexuals shouldn’t be allowed to be part of it. No. I quickly realized the answer, for me, was no.

If your main argument for or against anything is “That’s the way it’s always been,” I invite you to open your heart and mind to more possibilities. Allow for a “What if?” thought or two. What if there was another way? A better way? Be willing to be wrong.

The only constant in our lives is change. Institutions, systems, beliefs and structures that no longer serve us must and will change. Those who fight it, will lead a life of frustration, effort and disappointment. I know this first hand. When you resist change, you lose. When you can begin to embrace and welcome change, you are truly alive and in flow of All That Is.

Note – I said “begin.” That doesn’t mean you’ll be thrilled by every change, but allow yourself to begin to embrace it. Open yourself to it. Allow the possibility that all change is meant to serve you in the long run. And so it is.

Ever experience Biofeedback?

I’ve heard of biofeedback machines for a few years, but I’d never have an experience with one until recently. If you know me, you know I’m all about new experiences, so when Michelle Corey of Boston Biofeedback offered me a session I was all in.

My aura

My golden aura

The first surprise was that this could be done remotely. I wrongly assumed I needed to be physically hooked up to the machine to get a reading, but that is not the case at all. My session was done entirely via the phone with Michelle asking me questions, entering some data into the machine and sharing results. It began with questions about my current health, medication, diet, history and more. Then, that data along with Michelle’s intuition and the device gave me information on my dietary needs, food sensitivities, weakest organ (my spleen), overall health and energy, plus things to look out for and more. The machine does readings spiritually, mentally and physically and I came out quite healthy and balanced – yay! She said it was nice to look at someone who wasn’t sick.

I did get feedback to breathe deeper, avoid tuna fish and that I have a tomato allergy I was not aware of. Six of my chakras were open and balanced. Also, I was declared to biologically be 34 years old. I was warned that my pituitary was a bit weak and my adrenals were being stressed, which certainly made sense since as an entrepreneur I can go and go, usually getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night. So the next day I allowed myself to sleep a solid ten hours for the first time in months, and that felt GREAT!

If you’ve got health issues and aren’t finding answers, consider biofeedback.

Akashic Goodness

I don’t know about you, but this year feels like it is flying by at a dizzying pace. It’s been this crazy level of busy that feels awesome.

Akashic Records with Andy GrantLast weekend I took part as an exhibitor and speaker at the Pump Up Your Life Expo in Lexington Ma. It was my first time with a booth at any sort of event and I had a great time talking about the Akashic Records, and meeting so many smiling, sweaty people (it was a very warm building). I signed some copies of Still Here: How to Succeed at Life After Failing at Suicide, raffled off an Akashic Records Reading and gave a 30 min talk, “What The Akashic Records Want You to Know.” I also did some quick demo readings as part of my presentation. At the end of my talk I noticed a few minutes left on the clock and I tried to squeeze one more reading in. I was half way thru the prayer, really rushing it, and feeling nervous when I got a Clear NO. Abort this.

OK, I listened and told the volunteer that I got a clear “no” to trying to cram this in. She was apologizing to me and I’m apologizing to her, but I was actually psyched because I’d never had that experience before where the Records knew something wasn’t going to work and gave me a clear, “Nope, not gonna happen.”

I left the presentation room and went back to my vendor table upstairs and noticed something felt stuck in my throat. I kept having this cough I couldn’t shake. Tried drinking water, kept feeling like it was going down the wrong pipe. This feeling lasted for close to 40 minutes and it seemed like it was somehow from the aborted Akashic Records reading. Eventually it passed and I almost forgot all about it.

The next day at home I dump out all the entries for a free 60 minute Akashic Records Reading and I randomly pick a name; Michelle Corey. Michelle was the final volunteer at the workshop that I tried to cram in. My jaw dropped and I called her right away to let her know she won. It was so wild.

I had such a good time I even drew a 2nd name for a free 30 min session and that went to Lisa Heffley. Lisa was one of the last people I spoke to that day and she even asked if I would do a quick little reading right there at my table. I declined, but she won the unplanned 2nd giveaway. I couldn’t dare make this up if I tried.

I shared a special offer at the event and because I so love working in the Records, here it is for everyone. There is also a brief video about the records here as well if you aren’t familiar with them.

My next expo appearance is Sunday, June 28 in Hampton Beach NH. Come out and explore all the cool exhibitors. I’ll be selling some of my books and raffling off another free Akashic Reading, and perhaps doing some mini-readings if you ask nice 🙂
