Mystery School Initiation

I’m officially a Mystery School Initiate! I’ll find out much more what that truly means over the coming, weeks, months… years.

A short video tonight before I crash. There was MUCH to experience, but not much I can attempt to share. This weekend was all about me. Future programs I take will teach me new healings to serve you.

One odd thing today, since before 5am this morning thru now, I’ve had George Harrison’s “Got My Mind Set On You” playing. Sometimes it was just, “got my mind set on you” over and over, and early this morning it was the line, “gonna take patience and time to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it right, child!” George was actually an initiate too.

Now, I can catch up with The Walking Dead.

Mystery School: Day 1

In late January I had my first introduction to the Modern Mystery School thanks to a Life Activation healing I received. Today, I wrapped up the first day of a two-day Mystery School Initiation.

I love going into new experiences without knowing much about them, and this weekend certainly fits that bill. Mystery Schools are ancient, esoteric teachings long offered only to the elite and invited few. The ancient Greeks and Egyptians both had them. I’ve always figured it was somewhere that people along the lines of philosophers, shamans, alchemists, and maybe even witch doctors for lack of a better term, went for training.

One of the biggest things I’ve noticed since my Life Activation is a big increase in synchronicities. On Friday, I had my first experience as a paid mystery shopper, then this weekend is mystery school and the last song on the radio as I drove home tonight was Journey’s “Who’s Crying Now” with it’s opening line of “It’s been a mystery…” I cracked up laughing. Those are cute little examples, but that sort of thing has been showing up on a daily basis for the last couple months.

Also, this morning as I was leaving the house I decided to throw a gratitude rock in one pocket and then I saw a metal key, which I believe I received from some workshop in the past year, but I can’t recall which, anyway this morning in the longest guided meditation I’ve ever taken part in – I saw a key. A key which matched the one in my pocket.

Part of the sacredness of any mystery school is the lineage – the fact that the teachings are handed down live and in-person from teacher to student for thousands of years. You can’t get this from a book or a webinar, so I can’t attempt to share anything I’ve learned, just my experience and reactions.

Very much looking forward to day 2 and beyond. Now I’m off for my ritual shower.

This is the key I put in my pocket this morning, then saw in meditation a couple hours later.

Clear That Clutter

It has long been a challenge for me to let go of both physical and emotional things I’ve collected over the years, but when I do give myself permission to clear the clutter within and around me, the effects are much more far-reaching than merely a neater home.

When I had cleaned up everything in my office, I noticed this one white feather remaining.

Action Cures Fear

Last night I had the honor of leading a workshop called, To Be A Man, which explored the often confusing and contradictory messages about being a man today, and just what the hell does being a “real” man even mean. A few months ago I began having this nudge to do something specifically for men. In early November, 2015, I was at an event talking to people about my Energy Coaching and Akashic Records Readings and began chatting with a woman and I mentioned feeling called to do more with men. On the spot she asked me to come speak at her art gallery, Blue Wave Fine Art Gallery, as part of a speaker series she was putting together for 2016. The voice of fear in my head was saying “NO! I have no idea what I’d say, this is just some crazy half an idea so far”, but I chose to say yes.

As the evening began last night, it didn’t seem that anyone was coming. I was fine with that. I was telling Asia, the gallery owner, how grateful I was for the opportunity. It gave me the reason to create the content I was presenting, to make a Real Men Feel Facebook group and launch a monthly Men’s Spiritual Support Group at Circles of Wisdom. As a speaker who relies on vulnerability and speaks from the heart – having nobody show-up is not a fear of mine. A non-existent audience is my comfort zone.

As the time to begin arrived, three brave souls were there to listen, to share and to be open to more. I presented my views and experiences of being a man. I did my best to model the authenticity that I believe is key to anyone living a happy and engaging life. Everyone shared – more than I dared to hope for. We talked and explored for 2 1/2 hours.

Fear could have stopped this from happening at so many points. Action cures fear. Please listen to the nudges you get in your life. Your authenticity could be the very gift someone else is in dire need of. Be authentically you.

I have no idea where this men’s initiative will take me, but I’m willing to go there.

Be authentically you.
